François Barbier
Board Member (Chair)
François is French, currently living in New Jersey, father of 4, grandfather of 7 and more soon … He spent all of his career in the consumer goods industry in companies such as Mars inc., Danone and Mondelez, where he finished his career as President Europe.
When François retired from corporate life, he joined Ashoka in 2010. Ashoka is an NGO identifying and supporting Social Entrepreneurs all around the world.
He has been meeting incredible people there, people who are change makers for the best of our world!
His role in the Ashoka support network is to mentor social entrepreneurs so that their social entreprise is well structured to grow their social impact with a sustainable business model.
He is also a board member of Ashoka France and of a few social entreprises in North America and in France
Beside those activities, François mentors a few early stage start-ups.
