Our mission

A Force for Nature

Canopy’s mission is to protect the world’s forests, species, and climate, and to help advance frontline communities’ rights.

Every year, 3.4 billion trees are cut down to make paper packaging and fabrics such as rayon and viscose. Many of these trees come from the world’s Ancient and Endangered Forests, integral to life on Earth. We work with more than 900 brand partners and the world’s savviest innovators to change that.

Our Impact

Through our dedicated work and strategic partnerships, Canopy is showing that we can transform global supply chains from ‘take, make, waste’ to create a circular, more sustainable future.
