More about me
I do this work because people who look like me are impacted the most. I am driven by the people I continue to meet along my travels and journey, who also enjoy learning and challenging themselves, as we collectively navigate transforming the world.
Why forests are important to me
To me, forests give life and clean the air we breathe. As someone who loves to be outdoors, I appreciate the mental clearance I get when hiking or meditating, and the beautiful views gifted to me while being in the heart of nature.
Why Canopy
Canopy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the Earth’s forests, biodiversity, and climate, all while championing the advancement of Indigenous communities’ rights. Canopy Planet’s mission to protect these vital ecosystems and promote sustainability resonates deeply with my own values.
Ask me about
The time I went white-water rafting and joined the “swim team”, chat about my plans to travel to all seven continents and why I KNOW that North Carolina BBQ is the best in the world.
What ruffles my feathers
Being silent about things that matter. I strongly feel that we are the heroes that the world has been waiting for, and it’s up to us to dig deep and be the change we want to see. Time is of the essence.
I’m a risk taker and can be laser focused on a goal/vision. The pace in which I approach challenges is through studying and taking my time. I also tend to keep to myself, can be quite, and observe.
