With the launch of CIRCULOSE® Forward, Circulose has introduced a platform of targeted tools to help the fashion industry overcome the barriers that have historically slowed the uptake of circular, recycled textile fibres. Designed with and for industry leaders, this initiative lays the groundwork for scalable change — and Canopy is proud to support it.
Unveiled in London, UK, alongside brands including Mango and Bobo Choses, the CIRCULOSE® Forward platform is about more than fibre — it’s about building the systems that enable brands to act decisively on their sustainability commitments.

Building the Infrastructure for Circular Scale
At its heart, CIRCULOSE® Forward is a response to real-world challenges. Brands are setting ambitious climate and biodiversity targets. But integrating Next Gen Solutions into mainstream supply chains — at speed and scale — requires more than good intent. It requires tools, transparency, and collaboration.
CIRCULOSE® Forward aims to deliver just that, offering:
- The CIRCULOSE® Material Library – a curated selection of commercially available fabrics made with CIRCULOSE®.
- The CIRCULOSE® Forward Price Calculator – a practical tool for estimating the cost of switching to CIRCULOSE® at fabric or yarn level when converting from baseline fibres, rooted in transparent and Circulose’s price logic.
- The CIRCULOSE® Supplier Network – a community of value chain partners ready to support a smooth shift away from virgin forest-derived fibres.
Together, these tools are designed to de-risk circular sourcing, enable smarter planning, and make it easier for brands to operationalize their sustainability goals.
And importantly, this isn’t a roadmap — it’s a live initiative. Early adopters are already integrating CIRCULOSE® Forward into their sourcing strategies, sending a strong signal that the transition to vital-forest-free, circular fashion is not only possible, but underway.
Why It Matters
Each year, more than 300 million trees are logged to make fabrics like rayon and viscose — many from the world's most vital forests. These are ecosystems that store carbon, safeguard biodiversity, and support Indigenous and frontline communities. Logging them to make clothing is neither necessary nor sustainable.
At Canopy, we know that scaling circular, climate-friendly alternatives is essential to halting deforestation and building resilient supply chains. That’s why we work with more than 1,000 brands, innovators, and producers to accelerate the uptake of Next Gen Solutions — like Circulose.
Looking Ahead
Now is the moment for brands to lean in. By committing to low-carbon, vital-forest-free fibres, companies can play a defining role in making the dream of circular fashion real.
The future of fashion is circular. Let’s build it, together.
