We Get By With a Little Help…

For nearly 25 years, Canopy has harnessed the power of the marketplace to help protect the world’s Ancient and Endangered Forests, and transform supply chains to deliver business solutions at scale. We work with brands from around the world — including retailers, publishers, printers, personal care, food, electronic and fashion companies — to develop and implement leading policies that reduce your brand’s carbon footprint whilst improving purchasing practices and environmental performance. Together we catalyze Next Generation Solutions and advance ambitious levels of conservation of our natural world. (Cue Beatles music here.)

Impact by the Numbers

More than 900 companies have worked with Canopy to develop policies that eliminate sourcing from Ancient and Endangered Forests and bring game-changing solutions from the margins to the mainstream.
$803 Billion
Through CanopyStyle and Pack4Good, we work with more than 500 brand partners, worth over $803 billion dollars in revenue that have committed to eliminating Ancient and Endangered Forests from their supply chains, including some of the world’s largest companies, like H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Flipkart, and fashion group LVMH.
39 Million
With the help of supporters and conservation allies, Canopy has played pivotal roles in securing large-scale conservation gains in 39 million acres of Ancient and Endangered Forests in Indonesia, Canada’s Boreal Forest, and North America’s Temperate Rainforests.
Viscose producers that represent 92% of the entire global supply partnered with CanopyStyle through a public sourcing policy and have committed to eliminate their use of Ancient and Endangered Forest fibre and forward conservation and innovation. About 53% of global viscose production has been awarded a green shirt, low-risk rating.
Canopy has more than 20 Next Gen Innovator Partners and has supported 3 new Next Gen pulp mills, including the fruition of the world’s first textile-to-textile pulp mill in Sweden, and agricultural residue pulp mills for paper packaging in China and North America.

Our Partners

(We recognize) the traditional impact of paper and packaging use and production on Ancient and Endangered Forests and the environment and therefore the need to lead, support, and encourage the adoption of environmentally and socially responsible paper manufacturing practices.
