As our Cheetah Supply Chain Navigator, you’ll be leading the charge to revolutionize the paper packaging and textiles supply chains. You’ll help transform how companies source materials, steering them away from Ancient and Endangered Forests and toward Next Gen alternatives like wheat straw and textile waste. The future is circular, and you’ll be at the forefront of making that happen!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with MMCF (viscose) producers and major corporations to introduce Next Gen products into their supply chains, reshaping the market for sustainable alternatives. 
  • Develop and deliver projects that scale the production and market uptake of Next Gen materials in line with Canopy’s conservation goals. 
  • Engage large corporate consumers of forest products, industry bodies, and environmental organizations, turning them into champions for forest-friendly solutions. 
  • Guide a team of Next Gen campaigners and ensure that our conservation objectives are seamlessly integrated into corporate practices. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends, government policy, and the latest developments in conservation to inform your campaign strategy. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years’ direct experience in either campaigning, private sector sustainability strategy, supply chain management, or some combination of the above.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective, impactful campaigns, strategies and/or sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain development and management.
  • Good facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Skilled at representing their organization at external forums.
  • Good negotiation, partnership development and advocacy skills.
  • Embrace a "Yes, AND... mindset'' to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • A passion for the world’s forests.
