What We Do

The world’s ancient and endangered forests are being logged at an alarming rate, putting species, communities and our climate at risk.

Canopy works with the forest industry’s biggest customers and their suppliers to develop business solutions that protect these endangered forests.

CanopyStyle Follows the Thread

Explore how forests and fashion are linked with this video that takes viewers to the heart of the struggle to protect Indonesia’s remarkable Leuser Ecosystem. It also shows how global brands are galvanizing to transform the viscose supply chain to be more sustainable and ultimately help protect magical landscapes such as this.

The CanopyStyle initiative : eliminating Ancient and Endangered Forests from our clothes.

Each year, 150 million trees are logged to make viscose/rayon that goes into our clothing. We are partnering with fashion brands, designers and their viscose suppliers to keep the world's ancient and endangered forests out of our closets.
