Canopy Recognized with GAEA Award for “Moving Business for Climate Impact”
November 6, 2025, Vancouver, BC — Canopy is proud to announce that it has been named one of this year’s GAEA Award recipients in the category “Moving Business for Climate Impact.”
Presented by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Kearney, the GAEA Awards (Giving to Amplify Earth Action) celebrate organizations catalyzing transformative, collaborative action for nature and climate. The “Moving Business for Climate Impact” category recognizes organizations that drive systemic change with the potential to transform entire value chains, ecosystems, or industries.
This honour highlights Canopy’s leadership in transforming supply chains that rely on forest fibre and accelerating the scale-up of low-carbon, circular Next Gen Solutions derived from underutilized feedstocks like recycled textiles, and agricultural residues. Through partnerships with more than 1,000 global brands, producers, and innovators, Canopy is driving a market shift that keeps the world’s forests standing while advancing a climate-secure, resilient economy.
