The end of the year for Canopy is a time to get above the forest canopy — so to speak — and see the forest for the trees. This longview perspective helps us recognize all that we have accomplished together, and lay the groundwork for new audacious goals in our work to stabilize the global climate and protect the world's Ancient and Endangered Forests.

Canopy's Founder and Executive Director Nicole Rycroft shares learnings and highlights from 2022, a year where we reached major milestones, like working with over 500 brands through our CanopyStyle Initiative and witnessing the world's first textile-to-textile mill opening, Renewcell 1.

This past year has been a testament to the value of collaboration — we can't make this measurable progress without you. A huge thank you to our donors, friends, and partners who engaged, supported, and galvanized our work this year. We look forward to working alongside you in 2023 to protect the world's Ancient and Endangered Forests, prioritize support for Indigenous communities, and provide our partners with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to help us drive change.

Please consider making a generous year-end gift to help carry our momentum forward in 2023.
