Alice Munro and Yann Martel Special Editions

Celebrated authors Alice Munro and Yann Martel collaborated with Canopy to publish signed collectors’ editions of their books, Dear Life and Life of Pi, printed on forest-saving paper made for Canopy’s Second Harvest Paper Project. Made entirely from straw left over from the grain harvest and post consumer recycled content (1),  the books highlight a viable solution to logging carbon rich forests for paper.

A limited number of signed copies of Nobel Laureate prize winner Alice Munro’s critically acclaimed Dear Life and Yann Martel’s Life of Pi are still available for purchase. All proceeds go directly to Canopy’s continued forest conservation work.

Canopy thanks our forward-looking partners on this project, Random House Canada, McClelland & Stewart, Knopf Canada, Cascades Fine Papers, Alberta Innovates, Webcom and Friesens… and of course, Yann Martel and Alice Munro for their support and leadership.
