Sprint is already No. 3 on Newsweek’s 2011 Green Rankings, and a well known environmental leader. So, when they started looking for a business-savvy environmental NGO to advise them on forest product procurement and forest issues, they came to us.

Sprint and Canopy share the belief that business can lead environmental change, and we've been working together to develop guidelines to ensure Sprint's supply chain is sustainable, and that include meaningful commitments to support the development of alternatives to forest products, and encourage forest conservation initiatives.

As part of these broader commitments, this week Sprint unvelied its new 2-in-1 reusable envelope, the ecoEnvelope, designed to cut paper use and minimize environmental impact.
